About the role
You will advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, serving as a subject matter expert for US GAAP and US-related transactions. This role involves leading a local hub for US transactions, managing M&A accounting, and guiding companies through US capital markets and IPO readiness. You will also play a key role in growing the Swiss practice by developing new business and service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the firm's subject matter expert for US GAAP reporting and US-related transactions.
- Build and lead a local hub for US transactions to capture cross-border synergies.
- Manage accounting for M&A transactions including purchase accounting and post-deal integration.
- Guide companies through IPO readiness, execution, and SEC reporting.
- Advise on conversions to US GAAP, consolidations, and PCAOB audit-ready reporting.
- Lead engagements from scope to delivery, managing economics and stakeholder expectations.
- Contribute to proposals and develop new service offerings to grow the Swiss practice.

Qualifications
- Academic background in accounting, finance, or economics
- Qualified accountant credential (US CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Six to eight years in a Big 4 or comparable advisory environment
