Finance Director

About the role

Zilch is seeking an experienced Finance Director to operate as a senior leader within the Finance function, reporting to the SVP of Finance. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on ownership of complex technical, audit, and cash management matters to ensure strong governance and financial integrity. The successful candidate will act as a senior integrator across reporting and treasury functions while supporting corporate transactions and finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior finance partner to ExCo to ensure aligned messaging and high-quality decision support.
• Provide leadership across internal reporting, external reporting, and treasury functions.
• Lead finance preparation and execution support for major corporate transactions including capital raises and acquisitions.
• Provide senior review and challenge over monthly management accounts and Board reporting.
• Serve as the senior finance lead for statutory accounts and annual reports, managing engagement with external auditors.
• Provide senior oversight and strategic direction across treasury activities and capital management.
• Maintain strong financial control frameworks aligned with FCA expectations and best practice.
• Provide senior sponsorship and oversight of finance systems architecture to ensure scalability and automation.
