About the role
Axle Energy is looking for an Analytics Engineer to manage and optimize critical operational processes at the heart of their business. This role involves deep engagement with UK flexibility markets, managing asset trading, and ensuring accurate settlements for clients. You will build data pipelines and analyze complex datasets to support the company's mission of decarbonizing the energy system.
Responsibilities
- Owning operations for UK energy trading including daily processes and settlement reviews
- Debugging complex edge cases across trading, asset registration, and settlement processes
- Identifying and mitigating risks to revenue and delivery
- Communicating insights and actions to engineering and commercial teams
- Building and maintaining relationships with Distribution System Operators and UK market regulators
