About the role

As a Principal Backend Developer, you will act as a strategic technical leader, guiding and shaping robust architectures, data strategies, and cloud-native environments across multiple squads. You will partner with client stakeholders to solve complex business challenges while championing technical excellence and mentoring engineering talent. This role focuses on balancing cost, security, performance, and user experience to deliver high-performance digital products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client technical and business stakeholders to advise on world-class digital solutions.
• Shape architectures across multiple squads and select tools and frameworks to scale.
• Act as a trusted advisor on technical strategy and roadmaps for senior stakeholders.
• Mentor Lead and Senior Engineers and foster an engineering community of practice.
• Define and evolve technical standards and contribute to the company's shared body of knowledge.
