Senior Software Engineer - Confidential Computing & Runtime Security

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Runtime Encryption team, you will help shape the future of confidential computing by developing tools, SDKs, and platform capabilities for secure execution environments. You will work across the software stack, from applications and runtimes down to the operating system and hardware layers, to solve complex security challenges. This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to protect data in use, at rest, and in transit for organizations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
• Support other teams within Fortanix to use tools related to confidential computing platforms developed internally.
• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet security and performance standards.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning application, runtime, kernel, and platform layers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in security and confidential computing.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software development, and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Drive the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.
