Engineering Manager/Network Team Lead

About the role

Nebius is seeking a Staff Network Engineer and Team Lead to oversee the growth, deployment, and operational execution of their APAC network infrastructure. This role combines direct people leadership with high-end technical expertise, requiring the candidate to manage a regional team while remaining deeply involved in hands-on engineering. The position serves as the primary regional networking authority, bridging global architecture standards with local execution across data centers and carrier ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional engineering team of 2–5 network engineers.
• Own regional task planning, backlog prioritization, and end-to-end execution.
• Drive the launch and deployment process for new data centers and customers.
• Act as the regional escalation point for production network incidents.
• Co-own operational hand-off workflows with global teams to ensure round-the-clock network stability.
• Partner with global architecture and R&D teams to adapt core standards to APAC market realities.
• Contribute to the design, deployment, and operation of massive data center fabrics and backbone infrastructure.
