Senior Network Engineer – Deployment

About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will build and bring up networks for GPU clusters across Europe within the Deployment organization. This hands-on role involves taking network designs into production, configuring and validating cluster fabrics, and troubleshooting issues during the build process to ensure readiness for customers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and validate high-performance Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics for large GPU clusters.
• Bring up front-end, storage, and management networks and WAN edge connectivity for new sites and expansions.
• Run network acceptance testing and performance validation ahead of customer handover.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across routing, switching, optics, and cabling during build and early life.
• Work with Network Architecture to refine reference designs, BOMs, and build standards based on field experience.
• Build and improve automation for provisioning, configuration, and validation.
• Partner with Technical Program Managers, Data Centre Operations, and vendors to keep builds on schedule.
• Write clear runbooks and documentation so builds are repeatable across sites.
