Payment Operations Associate

About the role

Beyond Finance is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Operations Associate to join our Business Operations Department. This role involves managing settlement pipelines, communicating with creditors to resolve payment exceptions, and ensuring accurate documentation for client debt settlement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlement pipeline and exception reporting for the payment setup and clearing process.
• Communicate with creditors and agencies via phone and email to clear payment exceptions and uncleared payments.
• Support the acquisition of required documentation to successfully remit a payment.
• Request proof of payment from collection agencies, creditors, and third-party payment processors.
• Utilize banking ledgers to determine fund availability and ensure sufficient deposit account balances.
• Scan and attach necessary documents to client accounts in Salesforce.
• Provide support in word processing, typing correspondence, and proofreading.
