Sales Engineer

About the role

Gigaton is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive the frontline of industrial decarbonisation by bridging technical and commercial worlds. You will build relationships with process engineers, analyze complex plant data, and develop compelling proposals to solve critical industrial challenges. This role is essential for ensuring technical clarity and building a shared roadmap with customers to deliver real-world carbon and cost impact.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical expert on sales calls and visits with cement plants.
• Build trust with process engineers and plant teams by understanding their specific plant issues and linking them to how we can help.
• Analyse plant data to identify and evaluate opportunities, then use this analysis to create compelling sales proposals.
• Lead technical discovery and identify early when a plant does not meet our ICP criteria.
• Make sure relationships and plant understanding are handed over successfully to the deployment team.
• Act as a feedback loop into Gigaton’s product and machine learning teams, providing field insights that help shape our product roadmap.
• Develop and iterate the pre-sales technical process, making it more impactful and more automated each time.
• Travel to plants and conferences, around one week per month, to understand customer environments and explain the product.
