About the role

The Special Projects Lead will act as a venture builder within Fleek, taking new category bets from thesis to proven economics. This role involves identifying and onboarding supply, selling into existing demand, and managing the operational logistics of new business lines. You will work directly with founders to scale successful categories into long-term business units.

Responsibilities

  • Run bets through defined gates from market research to first GMV
  • Visit suppliers, graders, and rag houses to secure inventory
  • Onboard brands, brokers, and wholesalers to the marketplace
  • Make data-driven decisions to scale or terminate new business bets
  • Manage operational structures including importer-of-record, duties, and freight
  • Utilize and extend AI-driven acquisition tools to automate workflows
