Director of Applications

About the role

The Director of Applications will lead, build, and scale a team responsible for demonstrating utility-scale quantum value to global enterprise partners. This role involves translating complex enterprise computational bottlenecks into quantified quantum business cases and serving as the executive interface to strategic and technical leadership at partner organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution and delivery of strategic, quantitative, quantum application discovery projects with enterprise partners.
• Collaborate with partner teams to build and present robust business cases that quantify the ROI of quantum applications.
• Recruit, manage, and lead a team of Quantum Algorithm Experts, Applications Engineers, and Solutions Engineers.
• Build, maintain, and manage high-trust relationships with strategic and technical leadership at enterprise partner organizations.
• Establish and scale repeatable frameworks for business case development, project execution, and results reporting.
• Drive the feedback loop by translating enterprise application requirements and hardware performance targets back to internal product and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Mathematics
