Senior AI R&D Engineer – Model Training

About the role

As a Senior AI R&D Engineer, you will join the model training team to build and improve the model training pipeline. You will work across the full stack, optimizing training load scheduling, enabling large-scale code execution for reinforcement learning, and enhancing evaluation throughput. This role involves designing high-quality tooling and infrastructure to accelerate experimentation and model improvement.

Responsibilities

• Improve the maintainability of the codebase through testing and architectural changes
• Optimize training load scheduling on clusters to improve pipeline performance
• Enable large-scale code execution for reinforcement learning tasks
• Enhance evaluation codebases to increase inference throughput
• Collaborate with team members using techniques like mob or pair programming
