Senior Manager / Lead FP&AI

About the role

As the first dedicated hire in FP&A, you will work directly with the CFO to rebuild and automate financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. You will leverage AI agents to drive business impact, focusing on model logic, decision-making, and strategic financial planning rather than manual data entry. This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a growing solar energy startup.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild the FP&A foundation including current-state assessment, target architecture, budget, rolling forecast and multi-year planning
• Build and maintain integrated, driver-based financial models for projects, the portfolio and the group
• Develop the KPI framework and prepare management, board, investor and bank reporting with clear recommendations for action
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses and conduct deep dives on investments, financing, pricing and portfolio prioritization
• Build and operate agentic AI workflows for forecasting, anomaly detection, variance commentary and reporting
• Collaborate with the Data Team to provide finance logic and act as a primary user of financial data
• Evaluate and implement suitable FP&A tools and manage tool and AI costs
