About the role

Kittl is an AI-native operating system for creative businesses that helps brands look credible from idea to launch. As Head of Engineering, you will manage engineers directly, coach team leads into strong managers, and own the delivery process. You will report to the CTO and work closely with Product and Marketing to shape engineering strategy and ensure capacity aligns with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Coach first-time team leads into confident managers and manage engineers directly with clear expectations.
• Set consistent standards for performance, feedback, career growth, and onboarding.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks to improve predictability with the existing team.
• Take ownership of quality and earn the trust of senior engineers to streamline release decisions.
• Shape engineering strategy with the CTO and translate it into actionable team objectives.
• Weigh in on architecture and technical direction while staying close to the code.
