About the role

Filigran is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to serve as the internal reference for AI-Native engineering within the XTM Foundation team. This role involves defining engineering strategies, running experiments with AI coding tools, and embedding AI-assisted practices into the workflows of product engineering teams. The successful candidate will be a hands-on practitioner who can measure the impact of AI tools and guide the organization in adopting maintainable, high-quality AI-driven development standards.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Filigran's AI-Native engineering strategy including tools, workflows, and practices.
  • Run structured experiments to evaluate new AI coding tools and agents and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Build guardrails and engineering standards to ensure AI-generated code is maintainable and tested.
  • Work directly with product engineering teams to embed AI practices into day-to-day workflows.
  • Share knowledge through internal talks, workshops, and demos.
  • Stay ahead of the AI tooling landscape to surface relevant technologies for the team.
  • Work in the XTM Foundation team to turn AI practices into shared building blocks for product teams.
  • Contribute to Filigran's external voice on AI-Native engineering through blog posts and conference talks.
