About the role

The Staff System Architect will lead the technical architecture and roadmap for the next-generation rack-mountable SNSPD platform. This role involves defining system-level designs, ensuring architectural coherence across hardware and software domains, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing cryogenic photon detection systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture, design decisions, and cross-functional alignment to ensure a scalable and high-performing SNSPD platform
  • Drive technology roadmap, integration, and innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies
  • Translate product requirements into clear system-level designs and specifications
  • Define system structure, interfaces, and key architectural decisions while managing trade-offs across performance, cost, and scalability
  • Guide system integration and resolve complex cross-domain design challenges
