About the role
The Engineering Manager will lead the team responsible for Testlio's external-facing systems, including partner integrations, the public API, and identity and access management. This role involves balancing hands-on technical contributions with team leadership to ensure the platform's programmatic perimeter is scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly. You will work closely with product management and enterprise clients to drive technical strategy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team owning partner integrations, public API, and identity and access surfaces.
- Spend 20-30% of time on hands-on engineering, including coding and technical design reviews.
- Define and execute the multi-quarter technical roadmap for the sync platform and API strategy.
- Establish engineering operating rhythms, including planning, prioritization, and design review practices.
- Manage third-party dependencies, including tracking deprecations and planning migrations to prevent outages.
- Define service level objectives and build observability dashboards to ensure integration health.
- Coach engineers and implement AI-assisted development workflows to improve team productivity.
