Staff Product Engineer

About the role

Ashby is seeking a versatile and persistent Staff Product Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of product projects. You will operate in a high-agency, low-meeting environment where you will research, design, and implement features while collaborating with a team of experienced engineers. The role requires balancing speed and quality to build powerful, intelligent software for Talent Acquisition teams.

Responsibilities

• Research customer problems and conduct industry research
• Write product specifications and create wireframes
• Build and implement features end-to-end across the stack
• Collaborate with stakeholders to vet decisions and communicate progress
• Develop reusable building blocks and abstractions to improve system leverage
• Participate in customer issue investigations and support tasks
