About the role

The Head of Data Engineering will lead the team responsible for the Quantum Platform's data infrastructure. This role involves setting the technical strategy, managing the delivery roadmap, and partnering with leadership to align data initiatives with business performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing data engineering team, recruiting and retaining engineers who take pride in what they ship and how it performs
• Set and own the data engineering technical strategy, so our data infrastructure scales with the business
• Lead the delivery roadmap, meeting business objectives and making well-reasoned trade-offs where they are needed
• Partner with product, marketing, commercial and executive leadership to shape data priorities that move business performance
• Set the technical bar and drive adoption of AI-led development across the function, staying close to the code where it counts
