Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Ashby is seeking a versatile and persistent product engineer to join their team and take end-to-end ownership of product features. You will work in an environment that combines the agility of a seed-stage startup with the scale of a growth-stage company, operating with minimal process and high autonomy. The role involves researching customer needs, writing product specifications, designing interfaces, and implementing solutions across the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Research customer problems and competitor offerings to inform product development
• Write product specifications and create wireframes for new features
• Build and implement features end-to-end across the technology stack
• Collaborate with stakeholders to vet decisions and keep projects moving forward
• Develop reusable building blocks and abstractions to improve engineering leverage
• Participate in customer issue investigations and support tasks
