Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Ashby is seeking a versatile product engineer to take end-to-end ownership of product features in a high-pace, low-meeting environment. You will act as both a product manager and designer, researching customer needs, writing specs, and building solutions that scale for a large user base. This role is designed for experienced engineers who thrive on autonomy and want to solve complex problems without the constraints of traditional agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Research competitor products and customer requirements to inform development
• Write product specifications and create wireframes for new features
• Build and implement features end-to-end across the technology stack
• Develop reusable building blocks and abstractions to improve system flexibility
• Collaborate with stakeholders to vet decisions and communicate project progress
