Infrastructure Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join our growing IT team. This role is central to the evolution and operational performance of our infrastructure estate, ensuring it remains secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned to business needs. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering infrastructure strategy across cloud, core enterprise platforms, connectivity, and end-user environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for the development, standardisation, and modernisation of corporate infrastructure.
• Drive the effective adoption and operation of cloud platforms and related infrastructure services.
• Own operational performance including monitoring, patching, lifecycle management, and incident response.
• Work with Product and Delivery Managers to shape OKRs, prioritise work, and deliver infrastructure change.
• Translate technical issues, risks, and opportunities into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of standards, automation, and modern ways of working to improve efficiency.
