About the role

The IT Lead Systems Engineer will hold overall responsibility for the internal IT infrastructure and its strategic development. This role involves designing and optimizing network, server, storage, and virtualization environments while ensuring robust IT security and business continuity. The successful candidate will lead the team, manage IT budgets, and drive the implementation of modern DevOps and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal IT infrastructure and its strategic development
• Design, architect, and optimize network, server, storage, client, and virtualization systems
• Oversee IT security, backup, monitoring, IAM, and business continuity
• Develop and maintain ISMS, ISO 27001, and BSI-Grundschutz standards
• Manage and operate modern DevOps, CI/CD, container, and cloud environments
• Coordinate IT service providers, technology partners, and IT budgets
