System Engineer

About the role

The System Engineer acts as an IT generalist responsible for administering the internal system landscape and supporting the NOC team. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for employees, managing internal applications, and maintaining client systems within a medium-sized ICT company.

Responsibilities

• Support internal applications, monitoring systems, ticket systems, and databases
• Provide user support for Windows notebooks, iPhones, and Cisco VoIP telephony
• Assist the Network Operation Center in managing customer systems
• Process trouble tickets, perform initial analysis, and execute standardized solutions
• Document support processes and solutions in the internal knowledge base
• Execute technical tasks and small projects, including data center installations
• Support team onboarding and participate in a rotating on-call system
