AI Product Engineer

About the role

ClickHouse is seeking an AI Product Engineer to build agentic capabilities for ClickStack, an open-source observability platform. You will develop systems that investigate incidents, propose root causes, and summarize findings for on-call engineers. This role focuses on building production-grade agents, designing reusable skills, and enhancing the developer experience for AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build agents that investigate incidents and surface anomalies using ClickStack as a substrate.
• Develop a library of reusable skills for debugging, query writing, and incident response.
• Own the agent stack end-to-end, including context engineering, tool design, evals, and production performance.
• Build MCP servers, SDKs, and integrations to enable agent interaction with telemetry.
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to debug problems and improve the product.
• Address technical challenges such as latency, cost, context window limits, and hallucination management.
