Software Engineer - Python Backend

About the role

The Backend Python Engineer will join the backbone team to design, deliver, and own backend services for the company's digital core. This role involves working within a DevOps team to improve software development capabilities while collaborating with internal stakeholders in sales, finance, and people planning. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, security, and planning in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and own backend services for the company's core operations.

• Maintain a wide overview of projects while guarding quality, security, and planning.
• Develop production-ready, testable, and maintainable backend code.
• Manage code from development through deployment and operations.
• Mentor mid-level developers within a self-steering team context.
