Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Enpal is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of building and scaling their core product systems. You will design and implement reliable services across the stack, integrate with external platforms, and manage the full lifecycle from idea to deployment. The role involves shaping technical direction and mentoring other engineers within a fast-growing energy company.

Responsibilities

• Build and own complex solutions end-to-end, collaborating with your team and stakeholders to deliver product features.
• Design scalable backend services with NestJS/Node.js, create frontend experiences with Next.js/React, and architect data models with MongoDB.
• Leverage infrastructure expertise to design, deploy, and operate reliable cloud-native solutions in Azure.
• Build and consume APIs, integrating with internal and external systems while guiding other engineering teams.
• Own deployments, build CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and maintain applications in production.
• Drive code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Monitor systems, optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and make architectural decisions for scalability.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and foster a culture of clean code and best practices.
