Junior Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

BSI Software is looking for a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of their SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, and T-Systems. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, performing root-cause analysis, and actively contributing to the development of monitoring and observability systems. You will work as part of a team to support internal stakeholders and partners while automating infrastructure tasks to improve system efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and performance of the SaaS platform on AWS, Azure, and T-Systems.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and enhance observability.
• Provide 2nd-level support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana, including dashboards and alerts.
• Automate infrastructure management with Terraform and deploy applications on Kubernetes using ArgoCD, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery concepts.
• Update runbooks and documentation while automating recurring operational tasks.

Qualifications
