About the role

Alta Ares is seeking a systems and network administrator to manage and evolve their IT infrastructure across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. The role involves maintaining secure enterprise networks, managing identity and access systems, and overseeing endpoint management solutions. You will also contribute to cybersecurity operations, infrastructure performance monitoring, and the automation of recurring IT tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and evolve IT infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Maintain and secure enterprise networks including LAN/Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Manage identity and access systems using RBAC, MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust principles.
• Administer endpoint and mobile device management solutions such as MDM/MAM/RMM.
• Operate and improve cybersecurity tools including EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ensure backup reliability and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Automate recurring IT operations using PowerShell, Bash, and APIs.
