Data Platform Engineer

About the role

The Data Platform Engineer will develop and maintain the data facility for the HammerHAI AI Factory, supporting AI, HPC, and data analytics use cases. This role involves enabling customers to publish and share AI datasets and models while collaborating with national and European partners on R&D projects. You will contribute to the service portfolio of the AI Factory within an international team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the data facility of the AI Factory including software environments for AI, HPC, and data analytics.
• Contribute to the evolving service portfolio of the AI Factory.
• Support and enable customers to publish, access, and share AI datasets and models.
• Foster contact with collaboration partners and stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem.
• Work with national and European partners on novel AI R&D projects.
• Maintain relationships with technology providers and system developers.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer or data science or scientific computing
• Master’s degree in computer or data science or scientific computing
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of applied data platform development or engineering experience
