Maintenance Technician

About the role

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in a hands-on role. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the building across guest rooms, restaurants, and technical spaces. This role requires someone comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment and collaborating with the wider maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance throughout the building.
• Diagnose technical faults and carry out appropriate first-line repairs.
• Carry out general repairs across plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work and general building maintenance.
• Support the maintenance of mechanical equipment, pumps, ventilation and heating/cooling systems.
• Carry out regular inspections of plant rooms, guest areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Identify developing or recurring faults and report recommended solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned maintenance tasks from initial report through to completion.
• Support the Maintenance Manager with planned preventative maintenance and follow-up actions.
