Data Governance Implementation Lead

About the role

The Data Governance Implementation Lead will help an SHV Group transition data governance from concept to daily practice, focusing on areas with high business value. This role involves defining data ownership, facilitating stakeholder alignment, and creating reusable governance templates and playbooks for the wider SHV family of companies. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to structure ambiguous mandates into actionable initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify priority stakeholders, pain points, and governance gaps in collaboration with business and IT.
• Define clear ownership, including data owners, stewards, custodians, and decision forums.
• Facilitate workshops to align business and technical stakeholders on ownership, definitions, and decision-making.
• Develop reusable templates, playbooks, and accelerators for data governance across SHV Groups.
• Collaborate with technical, architecture, and privacy specialists to execute detailed implementation tasks.
