Head of Data & AI

About the role

The Head of Data & AI will lead the internal data foundation and AI platform strategy to make the organization fully AI-native and data-driven. This role involves building and managing a team to automate internal workflows, ensure reliable data governance, and deliver measurable AI impact across business functions. You will report to the COO and act as a key driver for cultural change regarding data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal AI strategy, roadmap, and platform including model access, observability, and cost control.
• Build and maintain a robust data foundation including ingestion, warehousing, dbt modeling, and self-serve BI.
• Deliver AI solutions into business functions from use case identification to deployment and impact measurement.
• Drive cultural change to ensure data-based decision-making and widespread automation of manual tasks.
• Manage governance, risk, and compliance in a regulated healthcare setting including privacy and EU AI Act adherence.
• Build and manage the Data and Internal AI team while establishing a network of AI Champions.

Qualifications
