Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will take technical responsibility for building and advancing a modern DevOps and cloud infrastructure. You will create stable and scalable foundations for software development using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD. Additionally, you will support development teams with complex infrastructure topics and manage external service providers and support partners.

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for the stable operation and strategic development of the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Assume professional and personnel responsibility for the DevOps area, continuously developing structures, processes, and standards.
• Design modern and scalable infrastructure solutions on a new platform using Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub CI/CD, and AWS.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish reliable foundations for CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage cloud costs, contracts, external service providers, and support services while aligning them with technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a team lead role
