About the role
This senior position operates at the intersection of sub-Kelvin sub-system electronics and quantum processor architectures to address the interconnect bottleneck in scalable quantum computing. The role covers the full digital IC design cycle, from microarchitecture specification and RTL development to physical implementation and tape-out signoff. The objective is to realize ultra-low-power, high-density cryogenic control ICs for fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Responsibilities
- Develop microarchitecture specifications and synthesizable RTL.
- Perform Verilog-AMS co-simulation and testbench environment setup.
- Execute physical implementation including floorplanning, power grid synthesis, and clock tree synthesis.
- Conduct low-power synthesis and multi-corner multi-mode static timing analysis.
- Manage full tape-out signoff including DRC, LVS, and ERC checks.
- Architect high-speed serial interconnect protocols and complex finite-state machine control logic.
