About the role

Cambridge Consultants is seeking STEM graduates to join their Electronics and Software group to work on diverse client projects ranging from consumer devices to defence and national security. The role focuses on developing technical design skills across embedded systems, hardware, and software while working in a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates should be eager to learn, possess a rigorous approach to problem-solving, and be prepared to grow into expert technologists.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a technical team on multi-disciplinary client assignments across various markets.
  • Design and implement systems for a wide range of applications and products.
  • Develop technical design skills for analogue and digital hardware, information engineering, embedded software, control, and communications.
  • Write software in C for embedded targets and SystemVerilog for FPGAs.
  • Perform PCB design and hardware testing.
  • Interact directly with clients at all phases of projects, from requirements capture to final handover.
