Production Test Engineer

About the role

As a Production Test Engineer, you will actively shape the technical performance of production test systems for Flash and SmartCard memory products. You will ensure that test systems operate stably and efficiently in series production by combining your expertise in hardware, electronics, and system-level software. You will work closely with R&D to ensure the robust integration of new or scaled test solutions into series production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize production test systems with a focus on test hardware, electronics, and system-level software.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions in test systems, distinguishing between product, process, and system causes.
• Analyze test failures, retest, and yield issues to identify technical loss drivers and implement improvement measures.
• Adapt existing test hardware, electronic assemblies, PCB designs, and production-related test software to new requirements.
• Ensure the technical performance of test systems throughout their lifecycle and develop them further based on production needs.
• Manage the transition of new or scaled test solutions from R&D to series production.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and maintenance teams while maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications
