Senior Data Platform Engineer

About the role

The Data Platform team at Swile builds the tools, standards, and foundations that enable engineering teams to manage their data autonomously. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work at the intersection of data, software engineering, and infrastructure to empower teams to build and run their own data pipelines. You will contribute to batch processing and event-driven architectures while helping to define and promote best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to build and run their own data pipelines
• Ship AI tooling as part of the platform to help teams design, build, and run data products
• Contribute to batch processing and event-driven architecture
• Define, document, and promote standards and best practices
• Help teams adopt tools and practices while growing their skills
• Evangelize the platform vision and build relays across teams in France and Brazil
