Senior Data Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will join an enablement team focused on building the tools, standards, and foundations that allow engineering teams at Swile to own their data autonomously. You will work at the intersection of data, software engineering, and infrastructure to design platforms and ship AI tooling. This role involves contributing to batch processing and event-driven architectures while promoting best practices across teams in France and Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve the tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to build and run their own data pipelines
• Ship AI tooling as part of the platform to help teams design, build and run their data products
• Contribute to batch processing and event-driven architecture
• Define, document and promote standards and best practices
• Help teams adopt tools and practices and grow their skills
• Evangelize the platform vision and build relays across teams
