Chief Technology Officer

About the role

Caspar Health is seeking a CTO to lead the Engineering organization during a phase of growth and transition toward medical-device compliance. The role involves owning the technology strategy, building a strong leadership layer, and ensuring the resilience and security of digital care systems. You will report to the CEO and work as a peer to the CPO to align technical feasibility with product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Translate company and product strategy into a technology strategy with clear capabilities and investment plans.
• Lead all Engineering teams including Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, and quality automation.
• Build a strong leadership layer and ensure resilient internal and external capacity.
• Own architecture, technology choices, reliability, security implementation, and regulated development.
• Manage the Engineering budget and capacity while deciding on build, buy, or outsource options.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with clinics, partners, auditors, and investors.
