About the role

In this role, you will manage the ongoing accounting for multiple domestic and international entities within the nextbike group. You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, supporting group consolidation, and handling intercompany reconciliations. Additionally, you will drive the standardization and automation of accounting processes, including the implementation of AI and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing accounting for multiple group entities in Germany and abroad.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and support group consolidation.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
• Prepare VAT returns for Germany and manage VAT reporting for international entities.
• Collaborate with controlling, tax advisors, and auditors.
• Drive the standardization and automation of accounting processes from document processing to closing.
• Identify and implement AI and digital tools in cooperation with IT and Finance.
• Manage payment runs for various group companies.

Qualifications
