Business Process Analyst

About the role

The Business Process Analyst will support Reimbursement Operations through process improvement, workflow optimization, and business transformation initiatives. This role partners with internal teams and external vendors to identify operational inefficiencies, document business requirements, and implement solutions that improve productivity and the patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end revenue cycle workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, rework, and process variation.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes using process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow documentation.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify operational bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues.
• Gather and document business requirements for operational and technology initiatives.
• Create process flows, business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in documenting system integration requirements and operational workflows between platforms.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, process workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or related roles
