About the role

During this internship, you will investigate how industrial data from steel processing machines can be used to predict production times for new products. You will develop a data-driven, self-learning model to support planning, calculation, and process optimization. You will work with real industrial datasets and collaborate with engineers across various disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of machines, production processes, and available data
• Analyze and prepare historical production and machine data
• Select relevant product and process characteristics
• Develop, train, and evaluate a predictive model
• Compare predictions with actual production results
• Translate results into practical recommendations or a proof of concept
