About the role
As a Computational Geometry Engineer, you will own the geometry core of the Manufacturing Intelligence stack. You will be responsible for the engine that processes customer CAD models to determine manufacturing strategies and verify production quality. This role involves developing code that directly controls autonomous factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the geometry core of the Manufacturing Intelligence stack
- Develop algorithms for feature recognition, robust booleans, and surface intersection
- Assess complex CAD model quality and predict processing challenges
- Integrate and maintain geometry kernels and mesh processing libraries
- Write and test performant C++ and Python code for production environments
- Collaborate on manufacturing techniques including casting, stamping, and additive manufacturing
