About the role
As a Computational Geometry Engineer, you will own the geometry core of the manufacturing intelligence stack. You will be responsible for developing the engine that processes customer CAD models to determine manufacturing strategies and verify production accuracy. This role involves end-to-end ownership of algorithms that drive autonomous factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the geometry core for manufacturing intelligence software
- Implement algorithms for feature recognition, surface intersection, and geometry repair
- Integrate and manage geometry kernels such as Parasolid or OpenCASCADE
- Process mesh and point-cloud data for solid modeling applications
- Collaborate on the integration of CAD models into interoperability processes
- Ensure code performance and robustness for real-world industrial applications
