Backend Engineer, Core Technology

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Infrastructure team, which focuses on the reliability, scale, and performance of Stripe's systems. You will design, build, test, and ship code while working on critical infrastructure areas such as compute, networking, developer productivity, and data serving. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that support Stripe's global financial platform.

Responsibilities

• Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across Stripe
• Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack
