Data Platform Engineer

About the role

The Data Platform Engineer will develop and maintain the data facility for the HammerHAI AI Factory, supporting AI, HPC, and data analytics use cases. This role involves enabling customers to publish and share AI datasets and models while collaborating with national and European partners on R&D projects. You will contribute to the service portfolio within an international team and maintain relationships with technology providers.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the data facility of the AI Factory including its software environments
• Contributing to the initial and evolving service portfolio of the AI Factory
• Supporting and enabling customers to publish, access and share their own AI data sets and models
• Fostering contact with collaboration partners and stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem
• Working with national and European partners on novel AI R&D projects
• Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers

Qualifications

• PhD in computer or data science or scientific computing
• Master’s degree in computer or data science or scientific computing
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of applied data platform development or deployment experience
