About the role
Trainline is seeking an experienced Head of Group Reporting for a 6-month contract to lead external reporting and financial control frameworks. This senior role requires deep IFRS expertise to navigate complex accounting areas and provide technical leadership within a fast-paced FTSE 250 environment. The successful candidate will manage financial statements, audit processes, and cashflow forecasting while supporting senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of producing the Group's IFRS annual and half yearly listed financial statements and annual report.
- Lead the year end and half year external audit and review processes end to end.
- Oversee the production and filing of subsidiary statutory accounts across UK and international entities.
- Own the Group's cashflow forecasting process, providing insight on liquidity, capital allocation and capital structure.
- Act as the Group's primary technical accounting authority, researching and forming positions on complex areas.
- Lead Finance's contribution to the Group's material controls framework and maintain accounting policies.
