Quant Developer in AI

About the role

Encord is seeking a Quant Developer to join their Foundations team to build high-performance, data-intensive systems for AI and robotics. You will design and deploy scalable infrastructure capable of processing petabytes of data, including 3D scenes, LIDAR, and ML inference. This role is ideal for someone with experience in institutional-scale systems who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and own data systems processing petabytes of data across billions of items.
• Build robust distributed systems and reason carefully about how they fail and how they behave under load.
• Design performant protocols and APIs, and tackle complex domains and immense scale with correct and pragmatic solutions.
• Build as part of a high-performing team, contribute your knowledge and experience to others.
