Accounts Payable Accountant EMEA

About the role

Berlitz is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to help shape their global finance function during a period of significant transformation. The role involves managing invoice processing, expense reporting, and vendor relationships while standardizing workflows using modern ERP tools. You will work in a remote-first environment, collaborating with international teams to build a digital-first finance department.

Responsibilities

• Perform invoice processing and expense reports to ensure accurate disbursement and expense accounting
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, maintain vendor master data, and resolve escalated discrepancies or disputes
• Ensure accurate vendor statement reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax requirements and regulatory standards
• Support audits by providing requested documentation
• Standardize and automate workflows using modern ERP tools
